Clowns question

I just added another perc clown to my tank(smaller than first one) 3 weeks ago, I never see them fight and they seem to hang out together, would this mean that they have become a mated pair(as you see on the warning label "keep one or a mated pair")

I saw large clown one night when the lights were on lay down on the sand on his side for 30 second intervals (no movement), the perc acts fine during the day, is this common behavior for a perc

Perfectly normal night time activity for some fish species in general but moreso for clowns. Nothing to be concered about.
