I've had some decent coralline growth thus far. I've noticed that it grows faster in areas where the water moves more. I really don't have a lot on the back wall but do have significant amonts on the sides and on the powerheads . Is there anything i can do to more evenly distribute the coralline or should i just be happy with what i have so far. (My set-up is 5.5 months old now.)

Scrape the ends of the tank and let it blow around the tank spreading it. Keeping your alk and cal balanced will also help.

The old corriline algea on the glass trick. How I know!!

what do you mean? Are you saying i should scrap it off the glass?

I was just trying to figure out if i had a good amount of coraline algae built up for the age of my tank (5 months).

Its up to you . Some scrape some dont. I try to but its a never ending battle . Good luck

Instant ocean and yes I add calcium. Last check mine was around 350 . I have several corals that use it up prety quick besides weekly water changes.
