Well here I go again getting ahead of myself again, but i broke down and purchased two acroporas. They are just small frags so i thought I'd start there.

I have them high up for more light and under a medium to high flow. This should do it correct? I heard these were more advanced corals but I think I may be up for the challenge this time.

Any thoughts or experiences that i might find helpful? Well, any input is helpful so fire away!

:)

Thanks as always everyone

I have a 30" quad t5. 2x10k 2xaetnic. Total 96 watts.
My lights appear to be bright enough I think, I just totally bleached out a brain coral. :-( Hoping for better luck with the sps.

That's a birdsnest correct? I have the exact same one (in color) and it grew like wildfire! hope yours does too!

Here it is close to when i first got it

Wow that did grow fast. I'm hoping mine does the same! I wanted a birdsnest since i started my tank. I'm slowly getting everything on my list. :)

I dont think u will have a problem just keep it towards the top of the tank.

Thanks, I'm hoping it works out ok. I'll be upgrading to a bigger tank and better lights soon as well so that will be a big help. :)
