Got hitch hikers, a few questions

I just finished setting up my tank, and its 3:30am .....yawn. All I have in there right now is sand, and a strong power head. I only have the tank filled about half way because I'm going to have to move it in a few weeks. I got 2 (that I saw) snail hitch-hikers. I won't get my live rock until I actually move the tank. Is there anything I should put in there for them to munch on in the mean time? I'm going to put a few pieces of krill in there tonight just to keep the bacteria going. I have the tank at 70 and will slowly inch it up over the next few days.

They may eat the krill but you could toss in a few flakes from time to time just in case.
