I forgot the name of my coral but it has green algea attached to it and don't know how to remove it. I was transfering it to a new tank and wanted to know how to remove it before it gets a new home. Any suggestions would be great. thanks

you could try to pull as much of the alge off as possible. Hair algae usually will not grow on a living coral. Is this algae growing on the rock that the coral is attached to?

Yes... the hair algea is on the base that the coral is attached to but it is in between also. I am not worried about the algea I can get to but the algea that will disturb the coral.
