The goby is only a band aid approach. You`ll need to find out what is causing the problem and fix it. Read this.

I misread that you will need to find out what caused it . Usually it is from lights that need changed , lack of flow or over feeding your tank ... A goby will keep the sand stirred tho and help once you figure out the cause .

If you give us a little more information about your tank we will be able to better help you.

Size?
How long it's been setup?
What do you have in the tank?
Lighting?
Filtration?
Water Parameters?

If you can provide us this information it will help us help you figure out what is going on.
