and barley know anything. My tank will have liverock and will be 65g
i want to get a small yellow tank, royal dottyback and a maroon clown
what other fish can i get?
Thanks

A 65 sadly will not work for a yellow tang. You could get some time out of it but after it gets too big itll need a 6' tank. The maroon clowns are cool but mean and big, so you could get a pair of perculas or ocellaris instead unless ur set on it. You could get blennies, gobies, etc etc. Research ALOT on this site. Good Luck!!!!!

Welcome to saltwater. And yeah, no tang for a 65g sorry. But are you gonna do corals? Theres alot of really cool fish if you go fish only.

Check out some wrasses and pygmy angels. Lots of color and action. And they generally arent reef safe so you can get them unlike alot of us.

Like snails? Nothing is gobbling up my 3 humongous hermits. lol I have only a coral banded shrimp left so it should be safe.

Or could he eat my pistol shrimp? That might be a mixed blessing. j/k

coral banded v.s. flame hawk? my money is on the fish!
