I'm wondering if there is a need to dose in between water changes

I been doing water changes once a week 10 gallons every Sunday. And I'm wondering if there is a need to dose in between water changes . is 10 gallons good enough.

45 gallon
I have a big sump with refugium
And a skimmer big enough for a 200 gallon tank
7 corals
5 fish
Pistol shrimp
Emerald crab
About 15 hermits and snails

Reason I went big was upgrade is in my future

You most likely dont have enough corals to be consuming more trace elements than you are replenishing.
