my yellow tang was my center piece fish, till my bta stung it (it died shortly afterwards) now its about time im trying to add another centerpiece fish. at the moment i have 2x percula clowns and a squareback anthia in a 55g any ideas guys? i thought about maybe getting another yellow tang if i cant think of any other nice centerpiece fish

The bristle tooth tangs require a tank of at least 70 gallons though. I really like them but I dont think you'd have enough room. Does this fish need to be reef safe or not? If so I love the flame angels and for the most part are reef safe. If it doesnt need to be there are a lot of angels that are incredible looking that would make an excellent center piece. HTH

If you dont need a reef safe fish check these out:

I have a purple tang in my 55 and it is a very nice fish.. I will be upgrading to a 90 soon for the tang police learking about..
My buddy has had a PT in his 55 for years with no issues and it is a fat and happy fish. I think the key to keeping them happy is making sure they have enough swimming room. A tank packed full of LR cuts down on room for the fish. Again just one of my fav fish that I have. I keep the actinic lights on later ever night so I can check him out.. He has great color under the actinics.
