I am wanting to get new power heads. But have specific requirements.

1) magnetic attachment
2) reliable on/off to use with my ac3 in a wavemaker program.
3) small openings (already lost a 6 line who ventured into the one I'm using now while it was off then turned on and chopped it up)

Not wanting to spend a fortune so vortechs are out.

Any suggestions

I use 2 Koralia EVO 1500's on a hydor wave maker... Yes, sometimes they try to start in reverse, and you hear a small clicking sound, but most times they don't. Very small openings as well...

Could probably put together a setup for $200...

Same here on the hydor Koralia 1500s. chbix, what size is your tank?

i run two koralia evo 750s in my 55 on the hydor wave maker. They work really well. And I have 4 1500s in my 210 on the same wavemaker. Good powerheads and pretty quiet.

Do you have to use the evos on the hydor wave more or can I use my ac3

That's what in ordering then! Thanks
