recomended inverts?

just wanted to ask what thoughts people have on using inerts for algae control in a tank with multiple tangs....

and what inverts are recomended for algae control?

yup, snails are great. I have a couple of emerald crabs that keep things trimed up as well.

Hermits are great also... Diversity is a good thing for any tank..

I would get a wide veriaty of snails, hermits and maybe even some blennys. There are packages of Clean Up Crews that can be purchased for just this issue.

I have good luck with Astrea snails, and dwarf hermit crabs for algae control. I also just added an Emerald Crab, but he's found a home in some LR.

Sally light foot crabs are voracious algae eaters.

thanks everyone,

i think the biggest problem im going to have is getting some of these little guys for my tank. as far as im aware there i no internet sites from which i can purchase livestock in australia, and i cant get stuffed shipped into the country so i think ill have to spend a bit of time searching, thanks again

An interesting challenge for you, but diversity is the key, there really isn't any one cleaner that will do it all. The more the merrier.
