Removing xienia from rocks

My xienia has completly taken over my tank.. Thought it was a cool coral but it got to be a little to much. Thinking of getting rid of some but i want to keep the rock that its on, How do i safly rip it off without killing it because i know someone who wants it

Cut it off with a pair of scissors.

The sciccors worked really well, Heres hopeing it doesnt all come back hah

it will. You will need to kalk paste the stumps.

Can i just use the instant ocean epoxy stuff? Basically the same thing if you ask me.. Not a bad idea

I use what us in the tech industry call a "black stick". Scrapes right off

Im sure its better you use the kalk paste, wont change the shape of your rocks. Im letting my pompom xenia run wild for the fact that the LFS near my buys tank aquacultered corals. So gonna let it got and frag it or just sell the whole rock, beside they are so cool. I kinda it mesmerized just starting at them opening a closing, almost like im being hypnotized.
