Just a quick question here. Ok, so I'm just wondering how room lighting affects fish, or even corals/inverts when turned on when a tanks lights are closed. I mean my room is pretty much pitch black and when I come home late and then turn on the lights. I'm curious if it has overly bad effects. Sometimes it seems to affect my clowns and other times they are still sound asleep.

Your corals and fish should be fine. The light might wake up the fish but is not harmful. :)
