I was adding some new rock to my 25 gallon tank and I guess I wasn't as careful as I should have been, because I just noticed a couple of thin scratches on the inside of the tank where I bumped the walls with a rock. They are less than half an inch long. At what point should I be worried about this sort of thing, or is it pretty common? I hate losing confidence in a 300 pound tank in my living room. :|

Sounds like they are more superficial scratches than huge gouges. I wouldnt be worried about it affecting the integrety of the glass.

i would agree with fishfreek dont wory about the scratches they wont do anything except sometimes they look bad.
GOOD LUCK IN THE FUTURE
