sea urchin hasn't moved in 2 days

ok sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong section,
i'm hoping someone can help me out here....

i just added a pincushion urchin to my bio cube. it's small, i'd say about 2". anyway it's been in my tank for about 2 days and it hasn't moved. i know it's not dead and no it has not dropped any spines. but i'm just wondering how active they usually are. he doesn't move at night either. he hasn't moved at all. is this normal behavior?

It may just be getting adjusted to the new tank. As long as it looks healthy, I wouldn't worry. I have a pin cushion that has a favorite rock it will spend days at a time on. It's the only clean (algae free)rock in my tank.

He should have his "tentacles" waving in the water. You will be surprised at how fast they move around the tank. Can you see any spines moving?
How did you acclimate and what are your water parameters?
