Tonga Fighting Conch

Anyone ever had one of these guys? I bought one...he's about 4 inches long. As soon as he made it into the display he dug into the sand...completely...and hasn't come out. It's only been a couple of days but I had no idea the guy would play possum.

I do see his eyes pop out of the sand intermittently.

So...normal behavior?

That's normal behavior for a fighting conch.

Yes, so I had read. This guy hasn't moved at all from what I can tell. He's probably lazy like the majority of my inverts. He is a good looking specimen, though.
