90 gallon reef.

I finally made up my mind on my final livestock list, but is it too much.

1 Yellow tang
2 two ocerallis clowns
1 Luther's Watchman Goby (5")
1 Purple Firefish
1 Flame Angel
1 Blue Mandarin

Is that too much? Do i need another bottom creature besides the Watchman Goby.

I plan to add the Flame Angel a couple of months after i add corals, and the mandarin will be last once the tank is much more mature. I know the flame my give me a problem, but it's such a beautiful fish that i'm going to give it a shot. I guess i need a reason to stop liking him. lol.

Why not look at a kole tang instead of the typical yellow? Seems fine to me, just try and get the mandarin hooked on enriched brine and watch the belly as well. Stock slowly, and don't rush yourself.

Well it's too late for the Kole tang, lol i already got the yellow.
As far as the Mandarin goes, you have no idea how much self control it took not to get a mandarin over the weekend. One of the LFS had two whose bellies were huge and they were eating brine shrimp. I saw them being fed twice.

lol I got mine on an impulse buy....just glad she's fat and happy on brine.

*EDIT* When you pick a mandarin up, grab a net breeder too, when it is fully acclimated, stick it in the breeder and toss in some brine. When they eat it, release them into the tank.
