I was wondering if anyone had any advice. I am getting a baby Niger Trigger for my 55 gallon fish only. I would like to know if anyone has ever kept any type of star with a Niger before? Would it be a snack? I know Triggers are not invertabrate safe, however as a Niger is pretty docile, would there be any problems? Thanks.

Yes I have kept a chocolate chip starfish with a niger, a huma huma, undulated, bursa and blue throat triggers all at the same time, surprising to most the starfish was not harmed at all. The triggers just ignored it.

I have a friend who lost a sand sifting sea star to a trigger. There are no guarantees, so make your decision carefully.
