Trigger beating up Porcupine puffer...HELP

I have a Porcupine puffer that has had his tail chewed up by a picaso trigger. I only see it happen when I feed them. When I go to feed the puffer the trigger will bite him. Will his tail heal? The trigger has been in ther longer than the puffer, but he doesn't bother anyone, until now.

Any idea on what to do? Should I feed the trigger first?

I'd take one of them back, I've heard quite a few horror stories about triggers/porcs. He will probably kill your puffer.
