how do change your water if an anemone is located right at the water line and when you vacuum, the water level goes down, i dont think the anemone can move fast enought to get out of the way.

The anenome will be ok for a breif period. I would nto leave the water level below the anenome for more than say 15minutes.

I agree. Although I don't have anemones, my corals are exposed to air when I do water changes with no ill effect.

The only caution I would look for is where the anemone is sitting. If perched on a sharp base, it can cause damage as they cannot support their weight and will tear. If on a smooth/flat rock or glass, your good to go.
