I just picked up a small piece of rock that has a nice size colony of star polyps growing on it, but I have the following questions:
1) water flow; do they like low, medium, or high flow? Some are starting to open and they seem to be moving around from the current (no ph pointing directly at them).
2) Placement; do they like low, medium, or high placement in the tank? I currently have them near the top on a piece of rock.
3) Feeding; Is there any special supplementation they require? Or can they survive from what the trap in the water column?
Tank Specs:
125g all glass tank
135 lbs of live rock
Sand bed
Standard cleaner crew
1 Very Large and Fat Yellow Tang
1 Clarki Clownfish
2 Fat Damsels
1 Scooter Blenny
1 Yellowheaded Jawfish
Thanks--------------Hec
