I changed 3 1/2 gallons tonight. Thats all the salt I had. As for the test here is the link to the test I have. http://www.drsfostersmith.com/produc...&N=2004+113074

Do you use dehlorinator to treat your water and if so what brand?

BTW, not sure but if it uses liquid reagents...it's a nesslers.

I believe the Aquarium pharm SW ammonia is the salicylate test. should be ok...the problem...any water treatments with ammonia or chloramine removers don't really remove the ammonia, they just complex the ammonia into another less toxic compound. The nessler's test reagents break these bonds so that when you test the water it is including the ammonia which your additive has detoxified.
