White creature on my heater?

I woke up this morning and noticed a white foam looking substance on my heater, is this a sponge? Should I leave it on there? It is about the size of a quarter, and porous. It was not there last night.

I`m thinking it`s a Q tip sponge. Hard to say without a pic though.

without a pic I would have to agree with Mike. Heck, with a pic I would probably end up agreeing too. The Q-tip sponges are pretty common.

That`s not a Qtip sponge. Is it moving.

Well, since I first noticed it this morning, it does not seem to be moving. Any other ideas? Is it an egg sack, or something along those lines? It's actually much whiter than it appears in this photo under a good LED flashlight.

At first I was going to say Peanut worm, but taking a closer look, I don't so. Not sure what it is.
