Currently, I have:

2 blue damselfish
1 coral beauty
1 lawnmower blenny
1 yellow and pink dottyback
1 six line wrasse

I have a 110 gallon tank with about 125 pounds of live rock with plenty of caves and places to hide. I want to add 2 ocellaris clowns, either a coral banded shrimp or skunk shrimp, and possibly a baby yellow tang to watch grow.

Good or bad idea?

That sounds fine to me, how long is the tank btw? If it isn't a 6ft long tank I'd be ab it concerned for the tang is all.

Like classklown said though when those coral banded shrimp get larger they get aggressive

That 110g is only a 4' tank. I'd skip the yellow tang. I'd go with the pair of clowns and a group of 3 cleaners - either the skunk or the crimson reds. They tend to come out more when in groups IME. If you gotta go tang, look at the kole or tomini tangs. Smaller.
