Having been adding garlic extract to my food for my ich-ed fish, I am developing a huge amount of the "protein slime" on the surface of the water.

So my question is, what is the best way to get rid of it?

TIA

try adjusting your skimmer if u have i if u dont i highly sugest that u get 1, face a power head to create a riple effect at the top of the water to take care of it or if all esle fails just scrap it off the top

I'd say 1) a good skimmer 2) use minimal amounts of food additives (as your finding out they can quickly foul your tank) 3) 20-25% water change 4) aggitate the waters surface w/ a power head in order to keep the DOC's in the water column where a skimmer can take care of them.
