Zoa-should i move it lower? New to the tank.

I thought so, yes they are new, my first time buying over the net... I'll move them lower. Maybe it'll give them some relief...thanks! Love the hobby!
 
Give them some time to adjust and should be fine.

I bought almost all of my corals from spikescorals.com and they've all come in great shape and opened up shortly after acclimation.
 
Do you put them on the bottom initially? I read that I should. But with all my others I didn't and they did fine.
 
The recommendation is usually start them on the bottom and work your way up. If you have light that isn't super intense you may be able to place them wherever and wiggle by, the light acclimation
 
Yea just start them in the bottom of the tank ....Then move them up slowly over about a week to ten days ..that's how I do my acclamation and have not lost one yet....
