I've recently gotten into the hobby and it has completely consumed me!

I have a 170L (45 US Gallon) tank and currently have:
- 6 Peppered Corys
- 10 Ember Tetras
- 1 Bristlenose Pleco
- 2 Honey Gouramis

I know I'm not far off fully stocked and perhaps have room for a few more fish. Im undecided whether to get another schooling fish or a pair of 3/4inch fish.

For schooling fish, I was thinking perhaps 3/4 dwarf neon rainbow fish to add a bit more contrast to the orange theme I've got going on at the moment, or even just a school of neons/cardinals.

Does anyone have any suggestions for 3/4inch 'centre piece' fish that would not pose any threat to my tetras, or other fish, and are attractive and have interesting behavioural patterns?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

Bolivian Ram or a pair of Apistogramma (male and female)?

I’ve picked up four dwarf neon rainbows today but I’ll look into picking up a pair of apistogramma in a couple of weeks time. Thanks!
