What's the difference between a 29 gallon regular tank and a 30 gallon regular tank? Besides the 1 gallon difference!
29 Gallon 30 x12 x18
30 Gallon 36 x12 x16
30 Breeder 36 x18 x 12
They are longer and imo longer tanks are better than tall
So you can stick more fish in a 30 gallon then a 29 gallon?
The reason I ask is because, I was originally going to get a 29 gallon, but bought a 30 gallon today! I'm going to cycle it and then plan on stocking it with:
7 electric green glow tetras
6 Cory's
1 honey dwarf gourami
1 bolivian ram
10 ghost shrimp (I know the fish will eat them)
Is this a good stock for my 30 gallon? Is it to much or could I get more?

You could add another school or two depending on the size of the fish.
They might fight, especially if they are both males.
My mom has a Dwarf Flame Gourami and a Gold Gourami in her tank and they've gotten along well. Will it work in every tank? Maybe, maybe not.
I have a gold, olpaline, dwarf honey, powdered blue, long fine platinum, they All are fine goin on 3 months
