I've been on the hunt for tanks recently [ as obvious by my post about the Hex tank ]

I was at one of my LFS today and saw they had a 75gal tank/stand/glass hoods/single bulb florescent fixture for around $330-$350.

I was already set on getting a 30gal tank/stand/hood/ect for 130 bucks.

My main question is, Should I just go ahead and get the 75? I could most definately make use of it, and have a place to put it.

I've been trying to hunt a nice 55 gal or so tank, but no one offers them for any decent prices around where I live. Petsmart and Wal-mart have the bare tank alone for $160. Then they want another $80-150 for a stand for it. Then you have to factor in all the equipment, etc.

I am really considering accepting that 55 gal tank for $150 that includes the stand and equip and all. It may not have a warranty, but it sure is more price friendly than what I can find locally.

Hey William, bigger is always better!

I've been tank hunting as well & the longer I look the bigger I want! :D

Or maybe you can get BOTH 30 & 75!

William.... the 75g is a pretty good setup (We sell a 75 Combo like that
with twin-bulb strip light for $359.95)....so you're not that far off.
Be sure to ask for any discounts on related add-on items. We always
offer 20% for added items here.

P.S. Anytime you want to check pricing...you can go to my store website.
Although we don't ship....you can get an idea on pricing for various styles
and sizes of tanks.

So the general concensus is that this is a good deal?

if so I'll be leaving in about an hour to get it..

William, that is a great price for the 75G. If you have the $ and the time and the space, go for it!
