Bought a used aquarium that came with three fish:
1 Pleco (now in pond outside til fall)
1 Silverdollar (very mellow)
1 unidentified 1.5 inch orange with black

The unidentified is rather agressive to the 2 Julii Corys. Chases them around the tank. Otherwise is in a cave with Ms. Bubbles (pleco). The corys are the only fish it bothers. I have 4 black tetras and 6 neons that it pays no attention too. The mystery fish reminds of those fish that are called swordtails, but no swordtail. :?

It's a rather dark orange with black stripe horizontal between it's eyes and a black stripe horzontal down it's side. Thanks for the ID. Going to look at pics of Platys and see if that is it!! :) :!:

The black stripe is going down the side not around the body. and it isn't a plump fish. Going to go to LFS and see if they have something that looks like it! Thank you for your help!!

Could it be a Flying Fox? (Epalzorhynchus kalopterus) Not sure how orange those are though.

Oh, about unidentified fish

Looked at pics of fish last night on the internet. Looks a whole lot like a cherry barb but it is a dark orange. After reading several descriptions about cherry barbs it acts just like one. Stripes and such the same just dark orange. :? thank you again for your time!!
