Aqua Traders - Experiences?

I saw their ad in a couple fish magazines and went to their site (www.aquatraders.com). The prices on light strips are really quite good. I could actually afford what I want from them.

But, in the spirit of "if it's too good to be true, it probably is", I have to wonder about them. Has anyone had any experiences with these folks?

I didn't buy lights, but I bought a canister filter, acrylic 10 gal tank and some food. The shipping was very fast and I was very satisfied. I would ask other people about their lights. I have read good and bad things about them. HTH

My experience with them ia all bad. The ballast gave out after 17 hours. Took a month for them to finally snail mail a new ballast which needed to be soldered in. Customer service if you need them is almost non-existent. If you don't have a problem you got a bargain. If you do, you wasted your money. Not a choice I would make again.

I purchased a UV Sterilizer from them. Had no problem with delivery or quality of merchandise.
