Betta food.

I'm going to be getting a single male betta and Ive read that they prefer live food, but would I be ok feeding a mixture of freeze dried and flake?

You do not need to feed bettas live food. I feed a mix of flake, pellets and frozen foods, and I'm partial to the Omega One brand. Of course, live foods every now and then will do them just fine, especially if you are trying to breed them, but it is not necessary.
