Black Hi Fin Pleco

So I am thinking about buying a black hi fin pleco as its described in my local fish store. I know I should avoid "common plecos" because they get big, is this the "common pleco" everyone warns of?

I've had the same thing your thinking about getting for about a year now. At least that's what the pet store called him. He's about 9-10 inches and actually really fun to watch. He keeps to himself mostly but kind of glides around the tank at night.

That's good, my girlfriend and I really like it. 10" is manageable. It is good to hear this isn't the 24" river monster.
