Hi, my LFS has 2 black river puffers. (aka-Humpback Puffers) I want to get one really bad, but forst I need to know a few things about them. What size tank to they need? My LFS has them in brakish water, but I heard they were strictly FW, if I get one, should I slowly change the BW to FW? And, what do the eat. Can they live with GSP's for 2 months because I would have to cycle a tank for themselves. As always, thanks,
Willie

GSPs can't live in FW, they must live in BW to marine conditions, black river puffers are actually the target puffer which is brackish and FW. However they are EXTREMELY aggressive and I wouldn't mix it with anything other than itself. Think of it as a velociraptor with fins.
