I hope you figure out what went wrong.
Here is my wood 7 days after adding...

This is FTS with pieces from fall
I know the wood is safe and I would be LIT if it wasn't.My clown loaches have been with me for 10-15 years now...They own the tank..
I did think maybe the wood was/is leaching something as one of my electric blue acaras was hanging out by themselves and getting very pale ,but no worries on that now either...
She laid eggs on the wood I added last fall.
My super red plecos can't stay away from the new wood...They were always on the old wood before?
