Bosemani colouring

Hi there just wondering at what age the intense blue comes out in the bosemani, my fish in the photo is about 9-10 months old. Hes fed a variety of diet, live and flake foods.water parameters are perfect aswell

I have some that are the same age and mine have a lot darker of a blue and orange, so it may just be genetics playing a role in the coloration of yours. I'd give it to at least 1.5 maybe 2 years before color is fully set.

Yep, it's normal. May be breeding colors, though I'm not sure if they are ready to breed that young. I know my guys are always trying to find someone to come breed with them in the morning.
