Bristlenose. Male of Female?

i'm starting to have doubts whether this guy is a male or not... could somebody have a guess?

Male.
Reason: both male and female bushynose pleco have these protrusions. On a male, they are more pronounced, and grow from most of its head..like yours. On a female, the protrusions are smaller and only around the front of the mouth.

yeah it was just that i had another of the same size and it has a lot more bristles and branches

I think male as well. I had a female and she didn't have bristles like that.

55 gallon elephant nose tank.
30 gallon vampire shrimp, green lace shrimp and snails.
 
My goldfish Klauss is a fancytail ryukin. he's now almost full grown and JUST started to grow a wen. Some fish are just late bloomers i guess. :)
