Hi my 50 gal has alot of bubbles at the surface of the water that don't pop for a while. I figured it was from over feeding so I cut back and have been doing 10-20% water changes each day for the past 2 days. Still alot of bubbles but as many. Am I going about the right way to fix the problem? I have an Emp 400 and a bubble wand which might be making the situation worse.
Thanks

If you were overfeeding, it's just from the disolved organics on the surface. Do a larger water change and you should be fine. I get some bubbles on the surface of my 55G with my Emperor 400's. I do 50% PWC's weekly.

I've been using mostly some old petland brand stuff my dad used when he kept fish. Also tetra aquasafe. I've heard rumors that aquasafe makes the water bubbly.
