Can anyone id this fish for me??

Are they really a schooling fish or Will a pair be okay?? Or maybe 3 good?

Yes they are really a schooling fish. They get stressed out if you don't have enough. I would suggest 6 at the least. To me the more rainbows I have the happier they all are.

Agreed. I think 5 is even a light number. I started with 5 and they would seem pretty stressed at times, now I'm up to eleven and it's working out great.

Yea I have 12 and they are great, the male to female ratio is also important. I would go with a male to two females. If you plan on ever having them spawn this is important to make sure the females don't get to exhausted.

I wouldn't do less than 5. 7 or more would be better.
