Can I put a vampire pleco in with an RES turtle?

I have a decently large vampire pleco in my 29 gallon that is not getting along with another fish. I was wondering if I could move it into my 40 gallon tank with a red eared slider and a Raphael catfish. The turtle has tried biting at a smaller fish in the past but has never given any problems to the Raphael.

My common Pleco lives fine with my RES's. Just keep a close eye on him and he should be fine.

Thanks, the fish my RES turtle bit before was a common Pleco but it was a young one
