So it looks like Discus are out as tank mates darn it! Now I need to decide if I should move ahead with the discus or go with these cute little fellas thanks for the info homer!

As a side note, a somewhat similar fish to this that is a native to us here stateside is the darter. It might work out for some setups where the rhino won't.

There are dozens of very colorful species that range in size but most stay small enough to make good aquarium inhabitants.
