Child proofing

The main danger is it tipping by him climbing up on it.
An easy fix would be to buy/build a couple of "U" shaped brackets that can be bolted to the wall and secured to the top back rim of the tank. That way the tank itself cannot tip over. That is where you want it secured the most. It would also be easy to conceal.
Securing the stand is ok, but will NOT prevent the tank itself from being pulled over, in fact it may make it easier if the stand is secured but the tank itself is not.

My hope is that the kids get high paying jobs later to pay for a retirement lifestyle I can become accustomed to! Older hands say this is wishful thinking....
