Chinese algae eater

I have 2 in a 75g and they get a long just fine always hanging out together just be sure you have a large tank they can get 8 inches long
 
How big of a tank do you have?

They grow massive, and IMO I would not keep them with your standard fish. I would try an oscar or some aggressive AC to keep them in check from eating their slime coats.
 
Oscars are still at risk. They are recommended for species-only tanks.

They need to be roughly the same size and grown together is preferred. They become rather territorial and are on the aggressive side.
