Clown Loach Appitite Question

Hello, l have 6 inch clown loach. I buy apple snails, gold inca snails, large mystery snails, etc etc, about two a month... Their fates all become the same, they end up eaten by the Clown Loach. My question is, is there a variety/breed of snails that a clown loach WON'T eat?

I enjoy and appreciate the snails benefits and would successfully like to keep a couple longer then a month at a time.

I would have to say not, Ive seek clowns eat all kinds of snails. Is the snails the only thing that you are feeding him with?

No. He is an inhabitant of a community tank. I varied foods... Flake daily... Frozen weekly... Pellets/ algae wafers twice a week.

I like the snails to survive. The clown seems to have a different agenda!

Are you wanting to keep the snails to keep the algae down?

That is is one benefit. I also enjoy watching the snails go about their jobs and their esthetic value as well.
