Co2 regulators

Can anyone recommend a regulator with solenoid that i can purchase here in the UK? Im looking to hook it up to a paintball canister. Thanks

I wish I had an a good answer for you. Hopefully someone will answer who has experienced it. However, do you remember when I told you about how I saw a video of a regulator that was interchangeable with co2 cartridges on the planted forums? Well the guy that did the video is from the UK. Looks pretty much what im after. Just need to settle on a co2 tank now. Can somebody explain to me what a drop counter is? How its used? And if its needed please?

You have a word from two different things, so I will explain both for you.
A bubble counter is this little plastic chamber that you fill about 3/4 with water and put on the outside of your tank. You hook that up via tubing directly from the co2 tank to this plastic chamber. This will let you count the amount of bubbles per second (BPS) that are going into your tank. The standard is 2-3 BPS but everyone's tap water are different. That is where a drop checker comes into play.

A drop checker is an object that you put directly into the tank and it measures the amount of co2 in the water. This is a fail safe way for people not to overdose co2 and kill the fish.

You should get both, they are pretty inexpensive. I have a Fluval drop checker that I love and a Fluval bubble counter that I also love.

Be sure to use 4dkh solution in the drop checker. Otherwise you will not get accurate readings. Also change the solution in the drop checker at least once a month.
