In what size tank? Rosy barbs are best as a schooling fish, as are Silver Dollars. The chinese algae eater also can get agressive to larger fish (such as your silver dollar) and will begin eating off the slime coating when it gets older. Silver Dollars also are best in groups.

In that case, you probably cannot.

ok. i already have 4 rosy barbs and a silver dollar and 3 corys and 2 small comets in a 15 gallon.

oopps i know its too small.

It is a fin nipper, yes. I thought you said you returned your comet long ago...or it was the cichlid, and we advised you to ditch the comet as well. They will outgrow your tank. The silver dollar alone will outgrow your tank. The hin fin shark will outgrow your tank. Yet...you keep buying more fish?

well its the parrot fish that i gave to my cousin.

when my barbs or silver dollar or comet get larger i will also give them away.

but as long as you are keeping the comet in there his growth will be stunted and he will have a shortenend lifespan.
