Is there a difference between the 3 species of Hill Stream Loaches

Greetings Fish Lovers

So I have upgraded to a 75gallon and am looking at getting some Hillstream Loaches from Aqua Huna.

However, they have different kinds and was wondering other than colour pattern is there any difference ...

Hillstream Loach / Sewellia lineolata
Hillstream Loach / Chinese Butterfly Pleco
Hillstream Loach / Borneo Sucker

Any recommendations on personalities and best kept numbers is welcome.

My tank is mainly dwarf neo shrimp, cory cat fish, khuli loaches, chili rasbora and gertrude rainbows.

There will be differences in fin ray count, teeth and colour/ pattern. But other than that, they all behave the same and look similar.

You might have an issue with the males who set up territories and could go after the Khuli loaches or the Corydoras. You will have to keep an eye on them to make sure they behave themselves.
