Corys in trouble?

So yesterday I switched from gravel to sand and took out a bunch of river rocks for a big orange rock pre made from petco. I figured hiding spots would be needed so I put in about a 8 inch piece of 2 diameter PVC. All 4 of my cories are in there and haven't come out in about 2.5 hours, are they trapped or not smart enough to get out?

Have you literally been sitting there the whole time watching them?

I doubt they're trapped. But when you change a tank around, it's stressful on the fish for a while. Could be they're just hiding out while everybody adjusts.

No haha but last night thy were all out, this morning one of my albinos and my bronze Cory went missing and the the other albino an hour or two later when I came back and now the julii! They are all in there but I can barely see them
