Can the Large CLaw crab (not sure exact name) be kept in an aquarium where it cannot reach the surface? or must they be able to get out of the water. Also, are there any crabs entirely aquatic?

Don't know the answer but they have some crabs in my LFS and I was talking to the guy there and he said you have to make it so they can get out of the water.

youre probably talking about fiddler crabs since the males have one large claw... no, they have to have access to "land" to dry off

i had a red tyi crab and he would clime the heater wire and site on the top frame of my tank when i put a hood on it i left the water down about an inch or so and placed my float mag next to the wire out of the water about a 1/4in and he would chillout there 4 days the flack food would stick to the float and he would reach over the side live of that i only seen him in the tank prob 5 times the 8month he was in there the last time he was there he got into a fight with my blue crayfish and lost
