my ITES and ATES are at 0. After over a month or more of them being way over 200.

Im thinking about another gourami. But I have to check compatability.

You should have some ATES. That is what the ITES are converted into. You should have zero Ammonia and nitrIte.

Lori, I have a dwarf gourami. he's my special boy. I am going to petsmart today to find him a little friend. if I don't get a gourami, Im going to get a few serpae tetras. Only because I have those already. I hope the guy with the knowledge is working.

That's good. It just sounded funny in the original post I guess. I kinda got the impression you might be building up ammonia and they cycle hadn't really even started yet or may have been starting slowly. Just remember to go slow.

With a dwarf gourami, you should be careful what other species o gourami you get. The gold for instance will bully the dwarf.....you might want to do some research before you get another one.
